Terms & Conditions (Terms of Service) — Marry Muslim Application

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your access to and use of the Marry Muslim mobile application and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) Operator / Contact
The Service is provided by Marry Muslim (“Marry Muslim”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

2) Eligibility
By using the Service, you confirm that:

You are 18 years or older (or the age of majority where you live).
You can legally enter into these Terms.
You will use the Service only for lawful purposes and personal matrimonial use.
3) Account Registration & Security
To use features like matching and messaging, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
Keep your login credentials confidential.
Accept responsibility for activity under your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or to protect the community.

4) User Content (Profiles & Messages)
“User Content” includes profile text, photos, and in-app messages.

You:

Keep ownership of your User Content.
Grant Marry Muslim a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process your User Content only to operate, maintain, and improve the Service (for example: displaying your profile to others, delivering messages, preventing abuse, enforcing rules).
You promise you have the rights to post what you upload (including permission from anyone shown in your photos).

5) In‑App Messaging & Community Safety (UGC Rules)
The Service includes user-generated content and messaging. You are responsible for what you post or send.

Zero‑tolerance policy: You may not post, upload, or send content that is:

Harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory
Sexually explicit or pornographic
Encouraging violence, self-harm, or illegal activity
Fraudulent, deceptive, or impersonating someone else
Used to solicit money, gifts, or financial assistance
Spam or unwanted commercial promotion
Infringing intellectual property or privacy rights
6) Reporting & Blocking (iOS-Approval Friendly)
To help keep the community safe, the Service provides tools to:

Block other users to stop further contact.
Report profiles or messages that violate these Terms.
We may investigate reports and take action including content removal, restrictions, suspension, or termination.

7) Manual Moderation
We may manually review profiles and/or activity to enforce these Terms and maintain community safety. Moderation is not a guarantee that all harmful or misleading behavior will be detected.

8) Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Use of the Service is also subject to that policy.

9) Account Deletion
You can delete your account within the app. When you delete your account, your data will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

10) Disclaimers (No Guarantees)
The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.

We do not guarantee that:

You will find a match or achieve any particular outcome.
Other users are truthful, compatible, safe, or who they claim to be.
The Service will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
You use the Service at your own risk, including any online or offline interactions with other users.

11) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marry Muslim is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from user interactions, user content, or unauthorized access.

If we are found liable for any reason, our total liability will be limited to the greater of:

amounts you paid us (if any) in the previous 12 months, or
$100 CAD.
12) Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Marry Muslim from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

your use of the Service,
your User Content,
your violation of these Terms, or
your interactions with other users.
13) Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms. If changes are material, we may notify you in the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

14) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles (unless your local consumer protection laws require otherwise).
